("California Stock Exchange", "we", "us") handles personal information collected through our website at californiase.com, our marketing materials, and our onboarding and membership inquiries. It does not govern the order, trade, and settlement data that members and issuers route through the exchange under contract; that data is processed under the California Stock Exchange Rulebook, the relevant member or issuer agreement, and the associated data processing addendum, and is subject to the recordkeeping and reporting obligations applicable to a regulated exchange.

Information you give us. When you submit a contact form, request a demo, subscribe to updates, or correspond with us by email, we collect the information you provide - typically your name, business email, company, role, country, and any context you share about your use case.

Information collected automatically. Our website logs standard request metadata - IP address, user agent, referrer, pages requested, and timestamps - to operate the site, prevent abuse, and produce aggregate analytics. We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies for session continuity and basic measurement; we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Member and issuer trading data. If your organization is a member or issuer on the exchange, the order, trade, and settlement data that flows through our markets is governed by the California Stock Exchange Rulebook and the agreement with your organization, not by this Privacy Policy. We process it to operate, clear, settle, and surveil the markets and to meet our regulatory obligations, and we do not use it for unrelated purposes.

We use personal information to respond to inquiries, schedule and conduct meetings, provide requested materials (such as the business plan or pitch deck), send updates you have asked to receive, operate and secure the website, and meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

Where applicable privacy law requires a lawful basis, we rely on (i) your consent, where you have given it; (ii) the steps required prior to entering into a contract at your request; (iii) our legitimate interest in operating, securing, and growing the business in a manner you would reasonably expect; or (iv) compliance with a legal obligation.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use the information you provide for advertising or for training third-party machine learning models.
